On April 24th members of BSTRA joined the Friends of the Upton State Forest.
Our project that we concentrated on was installing anti-slip strips to one of the bridges at Upton State Forest. This is our test bridge. The strips are pretty expensive, it cost over $900 just for this one bridge.
But we all know how slippery wood gets, so we are hoping this works. We will give it a year to see how well the anti-slip strips hold up.
