DESCRIPTION:Join us as we tackle some trails that need work at Hodges Village Dam in Oxford MA. It is a beautiful place to ride\, so lets help by making the trails passable. \nDate: May 9th \nWhere: Greenbriar Recreation Area Rt 12\, Oxford (entrance is right next to the 581 Main St. house.) \nTime: 8:30 check in  9:00 to 1:00 trail work. \nWear appropriate clothing for working in the woods\, including sturdy shoes and wear gloves. \nWork will consist of cleaning up any winter debris\, cutting and brushing back as needed. Cove Insurance Agency\nThe ride is mostly on private property which has parts of the former Thompson Raceway\, located near\, but not related in any way to the Speedway. \nCheck in: 9 am     Length: 5 miles +/-\, repeat for 10+/- miles.      NEHT Affiliated \nLocation: Baker Road\, Thompson CT. From route 193S (coming from Massachusetts)\, take the sharp\, hairpin left downhill onto East Thompson road\, heading toward the Speedway. \nAfter about 1/2 mile\,  take the first paved right onto Alm Road.  If you pass the Speedway\, you’ve gone too far.  Follow Alm Road to the end.  Take a left onto Baker Road.  There will be a BSTRA sign to direct you to the left turn into the field.  For GPS use: 165 Baker Road Thompson\, CT will get you close. \nRegistration fees: $30 for BSTRA members\, $35 for non-members\,  Juniors 17 and under ride and eat free (free meal if they are pre-registered). DESCRIPTION:Ride Sponsored by: Whitehorse Truck & Trailer Service and Sales\nBay State Trail Riders Association\, Inc. (BSTRA) is planning a 34th Anniversary Celebration of National Trails Day on Sunday\, June 7th in North Brookfield MA.  We invite you to come out and join us for this opportunity to ride the beautiful trails  — and to participate in our other festivities being held at this event.   \nWhy such a big celebration? Because if there was just one day of the year that defined what BSTRA is all about\, it is National Trails Day!\nIt is in that spirit of National Trails Day that BSTRA holds an annual NTD fundraising event to raise money for Massachusetts trail projects. \nHow to Participate\nThere are two ways to participate:\n(1) Pay the registration fee to participate: $40 BSTRA members\, $50 Non-members\, children 17 and under ride & eat free (if pre-registered)\, and $20 for lunch only. \n(2) Get your NTD Sponsor Papers in advance and collect tax-deductible sponsor contributions for trail improvements. There is no registration fee when you collect $100 or more on your NTD Papers. (Checks are to be made payable to BSTRA\, Inc.) The five participants bringing in the largest dollar amount in sponsor contributions will each be awarded  prize packages to thank them for their efforts.
