BSTRA is very excited to offer a Fall pleasure ride out of a new location in Barre, MA on September 10th. The equestrian center’s new owner, Karla Christiansen, very graciously invited BSTRA to ride out of her property and tour her boarding facility which has direct access to miles of trails on public land.

This will be a great opportunity for you to ride the beautiful trails here. Riders will follow markers on a permanently marked course. Choose to ride 8, 11 or 15 miles on this NEHT affiliated ride. It offers the wooded trails and railroad bed which you would access from Felton Field — but with easier access to the trails. There is a road crossing and some road work to connect trails, but the miles of beautiful trails make it all worthwhile. Cardinal Ridge Equestrian Center offers us plenty of easy parking for our event.

Interested in coming in a day ahead of the ride and camping overnight? Karla has offered camping (with no electrical hookups or other facilities) — for just $15 per paddock required for your horse(s). Note: No temporary fencing is allowed, so paddocks must be used. Make camping arrangements in advance by calling Karla at 978-355-8306.

Hot Lunch after the ride for those who pre-registered (pulled pork, macaroni & cheese, green salad & apple crisp and other homemade desserts). Pre-registration must be postmarked by Sept.4th.
